Jacca Group's Yarra Valley Honey and our partners are 100% Australian owned and run family businesses.
Based in Coldstream, we have been producing honey for over 30 years. We take pride in our achievement to produce the purest quality, untampered honey on the market.
It hasn’t all been easy… Before the 2010 locusts swarm we had over 800 hives producing 12 to 15 tonnes of honey. After it hit, we lost over 90% of our production and have been replenishing our bee population ever since.
We continue to face challenges, particularly from the declining bee population due to damage to our eco-system, and the recent New South Wales and Victorian bushfires in 2020, that have sadly destroyed a number of our hives.
However, we have worked hard to still be in a position to bring our quality honey and farm fresh eggs to the market with confidence we can supply the needs of consumers. Soon we will be adding creamed honey and seasonal natural honeycomb to our list of products, so stay tuned!
